Hardy rich red blooms atop very strong
stems make any garden path something
special. Professional gardeners regularly
use border lilies like these as an easymaintenance
alternative to hedge roses.
With their wide, upward-facing flowers,
Red Carpet Border Lilies are ideal for
ornamenting paths, walkways, driveways,
building entrances, patio containers
and more. Parade them in border
fronts or plant them en masse to create
bold statements of colour.
Growing to a height of 15-18'' with
blooms 5-6'' in diameter, our hardy Red
Carpet border Lilies will do well in any
sunny or partially shaded spot (zones 3-
8). In early to midsummer, each strong
stem carries 5-7 flowers the first year
and up to 15 the second year. Planted
together, they will form a carpet of pure
colour few other perennials their size
can match. The slender stems take up
very little room, and the gorgeous
blooms set off your favourite perennials
and annuals beautifully. After blooming ,
the foliage stays green until fall.They will
multiply and return bigger and stronger
every year!
