Cinquefoil Miss Wilmott
The best-known cultivar of cinquefoil, this stunning perennial has graced
Dutch gardens for many years where it is used as a groundcover or in
borders. Tidy little rosettes of glossy, strawberrylike foliage form in
spring. Then from early to late summer, masses of rounded, rosy-pink
coloured flowers bloom with abandon for weeks. Over time, they
mellow in colour but retain a large area of crimson red in the centre of
each flower. Easy to grow in anything from full sun to full shade.
