Donard Variety Sea Holly
Adored by fl orists, gardeners and butterflies!
Silvery-veined foliage transforms to white in the summer, and is complemented by unique
blooms from mid summer to fall. Metallic blue fl ower heads are surrounded by a spikey
skirt of vibrant purple bracts, and fl owers are quite long-lasting! Stems can be cut back
after fl owering, but many gardeners choose to leave the attractive seed heads untouched.
A favorite among butterfl ies. Perfect for the backs of borders and containers, Sea Holly is
also popular in bouquets and dried arrangements. Highly tolerant of heat and resistant to
