Monarchs Velvet Cinquefoil

Lovely, Low-Growing Blooms from Early Summer to Frost
Velvety-rich crimson blooms appear in early summer to form low-growing mounds
in sunny beds and borders. Lush, mid-green foliage complements the deep red,
cup-shaped fl owers and serves as a wonderful ground cover in hard-to-tend areas.
Long, lithe stems bear single or clustered blooms, gracefully arching to lean
neatly against fences and other garden occupants. Mulching is advisable in cooler
climates. Potentilla thurberi ‘Monarch Velvet’ #1 plant
