Oriental Poppy Watermelon
The Star of the Show!
Poppies are the VIPs of every fl ower border, oozing with brilliant colour. This
may well be the most dazzling of them all! Mouth-wateringly gorgeous, this poppy
is aptly named for its watermelon pink color. Satiny, crepe-like petals open to 6
inches across. A large, velvety-black seed capsule lies in the center, surrounded by
prominent dark purple stamen. Hummingbirds love it, and you will, too! Perfect in
back borders and cutting gardens, it will also make a beautiful addition to summer
