A thin red line outlines each colour-splashed, frilly petal, adding to the glorious display. The bulb is likely to produce 2–3 stems and about four flowers are borne on each 20–24" stalk. The striking blossoms unfurl 8–10 weeks post-planting. Amaryllis perform well outdoors in warmer climates, but these elegant lilylike plants are particularly suited for growing indoors.
