Our Shipping Process for Bulbs and Bareroot Plants
We ship directly from Holland to the United States! All of our plant items are carefully packaged and shipped to arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for your area of the country. If some of your items have not yet shipped, it may be waiting for the proper shipping time. You will receive shipping notification emails when your order ships from Holland and when it clears customs in the United States. Please allow time for your shipment to make it across the Atlantic. After leaving Holland, your package can take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive at your door.
We ship plant items to the 48 contiguous United States and 14 Canadian Provinces via U.S. Postal Service, UPS, or Canada Post.

We are committed to sending you the best plants and bulbs available. Many of our bulbs and plants are harvested in Holland and shipped to the United States. All of our plants and bulbs are inspected before they’re packaged to provide our customers the best quality product.
Unlike big box stores, our bulbs and plants are stored in coolers. This helps maintain their vitality and ensures they remain in good dormant condition for successful growth. Here are a few reasons why this is important:
- Preservation of Moisture: Many plants and bulbs need a certain level of moisture to remain viable. When they dry out, they can become dormant or even die. Cool storage helps prevent this moisture loss. This is why some bulbs from big box stores may not bloom. They are dried out.
