Named for a fiddle tune from Appalachia, Sandy River Belle opens with a yellowish-pink hue created by red-violet speckles on a pale yellow ground. As the speckles lighten, the colour becomes more of a sandy pink. The standards have a bit more purple and are somewhat lighter than the falls.Iris sibirica
