We've selected some of the most beautiful blue hosta varieties on the market to make up this high-performance collection. Individually labeled for easy planting, you'll get one each of deep blue 'Halcyon', 'Frances Williams' with blue leaves edged in bright green, steel-blue 'Firn Line' with broad white margins, intensely blue 'Ben Vernooy' with thick foliage and wide, creamy white edges, and dusky blue 'Catherina' with chartreuse-green centres. For best blue colour, plant these hostas in part to full shade—sunlight brings out more of the green hues. Excellent border plants, hostas also brighten up shade gardens, containers and make exceptional ground cover between trees and shrubs. Lilac or white flowers complete the picture in early to late summer, depending on variety.
