White Feather Hosta and other hosta varieties are low-maintenance plants, requiring minimal care. To ensure their well being, it's important to keep in mind two key points: hostas need ample water and should be shielded from direct sunlight. While White Feather Hosta can adapt to various soil types, it thrives in damp, well-drained earth with a slightly acidic pH. Some gardeners choose to fertilize their hostas each spring.

White Feather Hosta flourishes when primarily positioned in shade, but it benefits from receiving some morning sunlight. To allow hosta plants to spread adequately, it is advisable to avoid planting them too closely together.
