Pompon Dahlias

Great for adding texture to the landscape and brightening borders, pompon dahlias yield masses of intricate, fully double blooms measuring up to 2½" across. They are similar in appearance to giant ball dahlias but much smaller. These geometric wonders are spherical with slightly flattened tops and no visible central discs. A bloom resting atop its stem somewhat resembles a brightly coloured, teed-up golf ball. Their rounded-honeycomb appearance can be attributed to the tight, inward curve of their closely packed petals. The petal tips are blunt or slightly rounded. Perfect for use in cut-flower arrangements.
