Wineberry Candy Reblooming Daylily

Wineberry Candy Reblooming Daylily

An early and frequent bloomer

This beloved beauty is one of the first daylilies of the season to bloom and has one of the longest flowering periods of any hemerocallis. A winner of many awards, it's a real performer--blooms remain open for 16 hours or more--and an exceptional rebloomer that flowers repeatedly later in the season. Plants exhibit excellent hardiness, good branching and high bud counts. Trumpet-shaped, 5" blooms have an orchid hue with purple eye zones and green throats. Fragrant flowers are a magnet for nectar-seeking butterflies. Foliage is dormant and grasslike. Drought tolerant and simple to grow. Two of the most prestigious honours it has received came from the American Daylily Society: the President's Cup Award, in 1999, and the L. Ernest Plouf Award, in 1998.

Is Jumbo the Way to Go?
This daylily is available in a Jumbo Bareroot size. Ideal for gardeners who hate to wait, jumbo bareroots (multi-fan clumps) have a considerable head start over standard sizes. Enjoy faster plant growth and much earlier blooms—likely within the first year.

Important Shipping Notes:

Breck's times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America. To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window below.

We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules. The type of product you order or the weather may affect the anticipated shipping schedule below. Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.
