Description

Butterflies love the clusters of bright red blooms.

This vigorous variety commands attention with its disc-shaped blooms featuring ruby-red petals with darker red midlines, circling striking yellow domes. The sturdy, upright stems make Rubinzwerg ideal for middle or back border positions, particularly when grouped with ornamental grasses or accompanied by companion plants like rudbeckias and coneflowers. Its long-lasting flowers appear from midsummer to early autumn, providing both vibrant garden colour and excellent cut flowers. The serrated, lance-shaped foliage reaches 4-6" and creates an attractive backdrop for neighbouring plants. This low-maintenance perennial thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, naturally repelling deer and rabbits while attracting beneficial pollinators. Try planting it along sunny pathways or in large drifts for maximum impact.
