Planting InstructionsDig a hole 12-18" deep to allow spreading of roots without touching the sides. Plant with bud union at ground level for mild climates; 2-3" below ground level for cold climates.

Winter CareAfter first killing frost of fall, make a mound of loose soil at base of plant in zones 5 and below. Cover the mound and bottom canes with mulch material.
